DIRECTIONS TO INDIAN WELL STATE PARK

 

From the Northeast:Take Interstate 84West to Waterbury (Left-hand Exit 19) and pickup Route 8 going south.TakeExit 14 off of Rt. 8. Take a right onto Howe Avenue(Rt. 110).Follow Rt.110 north through Shelton for approximately 2½ miles. Indian Well StatePark entrance will be on the right.

 

From the East:TakeInterstate 95 south (west) to Bridgeport (Exit 27A)and pickup Route8/25 going north.Follow Rt. 8 to the right when Rt. 25 splits off tothe left. Take Exit 14 off of Rt. 8.At the end of the exit ramptake a left, and then take the next left onto Howe Avenue (Route110).Follow Rt. 110 north through Shelton for approximately 2½miles.Indian Well State Park will be on the right.

 

From the Southwest:TakeInterstate 95 north (east)to Bridgeport (Exit 27A) and pickup Route8/25 going north.Follow Rt. 8 to the right when Rt. 25 splits off tothe left.Take Exit 14 off of Rt. 8.At the end of the exit ramptake a left, and then take the next left onto Howe Avenue (Route110).Follow Rt. 110 north through Shelton for approximately 2½miles.Indian Well State Park will be on the right.

From the Northwest:Takethe Mass Pike(Interstate 90) east to Lee (Exit 2) and pickup US Route20 east. Follow Rt 20to State Route 8 going south, which eventuallybecomes Connecticut Rt. 8.TakeRt 8 south to Exit 14.Take a right onto Howe Avenue (Rt. 110).FollowRt. 110 north through Shelton for approximately 2½ miles. Indian WellState Park will be on the right.

 

DIRECTIONS TO THE NHRC BOATHOUSE

 

From Rt. 84 Eastbound:Exit11, Sandy Hook. Right at end of exit, right again at next light. This isRoute 34 South towards New Haven. NHRC is about a mile-and-a-half aftercrossing the Stevenson Dam. About nine miles in total from exit 11.

From Rt. 84 Westbound:Exit19, Rt. 8 South; to Rt. 8 exit 15. Left at end of exit, this is Rt. 34West, towards Newtown/Danbury. NHRC is about 7miles from exit 15, (fourmiles past the Yale Boathouse).

From Wilbur Cross Pkwy Southbound:Exit 57, Route 34 West towards Derby/Newtown/Danbury. Follow Rt. 34through Derby, NHRC is about 6 miles North of Derby, (four miles pastthe Yale Boathouse).

From Wilbur Cross Pkwy Northbound:Exit52, Route 8 North towards Derby/Danbury.Route 8 exit 15. Left at end ofexit. This is Route 34 West, towards Newtown/Danbury.  NHRC is aboutseven miles from exit 15, (four miles past the Yale Boathouse).

From Route 95 South:In New Haven,just PAST the I-91 interchange (exit 48) there is an exitfor Route 34 (Exit47). Follow Route 34 West towardsDerby/Newtown/Danbury. Twenty minutes on Route 34 will bring you throughDerby, CT. NHRC is six miles North of Derby, (four miles past the YaleBoathouse).

From Route 95 North:Exit 27, Routes8 and 25 Northbound. Routes 8 and 25 split about sevenmiles North of I-95;bear right onto Rt. 8 and follow to exit 15; leftat end of exit. This is Route34 West, towards Newtown/Danbury. NHRC isabout seven miles from exit 15, (four miles past the Yale Boathouse).
