PACIFIC NOVICE/U17 REGATTA OVERVIEW
This regatta's primary goal is to offer new rowers and rowers early in their rowing career their initial exposure to side-by-side racing. It is a valuable instructional opportunity for athletes to grasp the fundamentals of racing rules. Penalties are infrequently enforced; instead, officials prioritize educating and guiding participants. A reminder that the novice category is for rowers who are in their first year of rowing.
