Welcome to the Green Mountain Head Regatta! After many years of holding the Green Mountain Head on our home waters in Putney, VT, we relocated the event just a few miles upstream in 2022.
This year's regatta will be our 42nd! Come enjoy our tradition of New England prizes... Vermont maple syrup (first), a bag of apples (second), and a gallon of cider (third). Also (as GMH tradition dictates!) rowers are invited to convene for lunch at the conclusion of racing.

Regatta Venue: Herrick's Cove, 4 Herrick's Cove Rd., Bellows Falls, VT 05101 (US I-91, Exit 6)
Race course: Three mile (plus a little bit) stake race. Beginning upstream on the far side of the river, proceeding approximately 1.5 miles to the turn. 1.5 mile return downstream on the near side of the river.
