4/22/2024 Trailer Parking Map.

Trailer parking will be tight.  Please be considerate of other teams. Trailers must be parked in line with space around them. 
Please follow the instructions of those directing the parking of trailers.  Teams racing Saturday AND Sunday must park in a designated area of the trailer parking lot.

The first trailers to arrive should back up to the walkway along North Park Dr.  and continue to pull in next to each other going around the perimeter.  Once we bring the trailers all the way around we will back trailers into place in front of those on the perimeter.  Please leave about 12 feet side to side and enough room back to front to get your boats out of the center racks.  

Once your trailer is parked, the truck must move out of the parking area.

If your team is also attending Cooper Cup on Sunday, your trailer must be parked in a deisgnated area of the lot both days. It will be to the right as you pull in and will be marked.  Spots 38, 39,40, 42, 43,44,45 on the Trailer Parking map.

4/22/2024; LTWT Weigh-in window

In the coaches info the weigh in window is from 8am till 10am. Our first LTWT race which is the men's ltwt 2x goes off at 9:12am & 9:18am. So the weigh-in window will open at 7:00am at the boathouse on the second floor for these 2 races. The Womens LTWT 2x, Womens LTWT 4+ & Mens LTWT 4+ are later in the day, but they can weigh-in right after the first 2 events are complete. The Weigh-in window is now 7:00am till 9:00am!

4/22/2024;  If an event has 7 boats there will be 2 semifinals with last place being eliminated in each, yielding a 5-boat final. the schedule may say that top 3 advance to final which is wrong.

4/19/24, "B" boats are allowed but do not count to total points trophies.

Coaches,

  The Cooper River  will be hosting the 2024 Garden States Scholastic Championships on Saturday, April 27, 2024.  The race is a 1,500 meter Championship regatta used as a qualifier of the SRAA regatta.  The event will use stake boats so please be sure to have your crews able to load properly on at the starting line.  All events will be properly seeded by our seeding committee after the entry window closes, allowing for the 5th flick race results to be used.  Please be sure to read all of the rules and contact us with any questions.

Team Tents

Each team may purchase one food tent site for the regatta, those tent sites must be purchased individually by filling out the form below.

Veterans Island

NO!! vehicle access to Veterans Island!!!!!!!

• Parking is located curbside down the race course in any legal parking spot.  Any area marked no parking is off limits to spectators, coaches, or athletes.
• Boat Trailers can arrive anytime on Friday but the course is not open until 1 PM and closes at 8 PM.

Team Tents and CHUCK WAGONS

•  You may set up your tents after 1:00 PM Friday. Any tent that is set up prior 1:00 PM will be taken down by the Park. Team tents can be set up to the right of the grand stands and the gazebo. The field will be marked out with spray painted lines to mark off where tents can be set up.  All tents must be set up in approved locations:
• Chuck Wagons - may be parked in the field behind the team tent area. not next to the tent.
  •  FINISH LINE - Facing the race course to the right of the Grand Stands and Gazebo. 
  • General Rules:
    • No tents will be permitted within 50 feet of the banks, as to not block sightlines. 
    • No tents should be set up in or near the gazebo, or anywhere near the streets.
    • Please leave the marked pathways clear of any equipment.  The paths are used for emergency vehicles and parks staff to clean up.
    • No team tents are permitted to the left of the finish line.
    • All grills must be setup outside of the ten
  • VETERANS ISLAND -  The island behind the LaScala's Birra (restaurant) will be used for viewing of this event.  
    • No vehicles will be permitted to access the island!
    • CHUCK WAGON PARKING
      • All Chuck Wagons will be parked on the brown gravel area.
      •   The wagons will be Parked to allowing for early departure if needed.  Barricades and Park Staff will be there to direct you where to park.  
        • Enter at the dirt path leading to the Gazebo where you will see County Vehicles to direct you.
        • When leaving you will head towards the start line (following the barricades and markings) to the gravel lot for a clean one way exit.
