The Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta is celebrating 85 years of the finest collegiate rowing.

While honoring the traditions of the past, we are also focusing on improving the future by providing the following features:

• A quality sheltered, narrow, six-lane buoyed racecourse on the Cooper River in Pennsauken, New Jersey. 

• A festive experience that has become a Dad Vail regatta tradition. 
• A tented facility provides complimentary lunches.  This allows for athletes to mingle with other teams on Friday and Saturday.

• Prepare for upcoming conference & national championships.
• Qualifier for the IRA for men

• Qualifier for NCAA Sponsorship and Women’s Rowing Championship
• Prepare for ACRA Club National Championship

BONUS:  We have secured the use of the Cooper River FREE of charge for participating teams to train from Sunday, 5/12/24, until Wednesday, 5/15/24, from 6:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. daily following the Dad Vail Regatta.

The Dad Vail Regatta is an open intercollegiate rowing championship for men and women teams not requiring a ranking or affiliation to participate. It is a rowing championship that encourages emerging programs to participate and experience an environment that provides an unequaled display of amenities and storied traditions endearing participants to the sport of rowing.
