We are in communication with Cal Fire San Diego regarding the fire fighting helicopter operations at Lake Otay. We are continuing racing as scheduled at this time. Should a change be required or requested by Cal Fire, we will inform you immediately.

We are happy to report we expect an on-time start to today's regatta. See you at the lake.

Saturday June, 22 - [6:45pm] UPDATE

We are closely monitoring the fire fighting operations currently ongoing in the nearby Otay Open Space Preserve. Cal Fire San Diego has named the incident the Border 58 Fire (100 acres as of 4:10pm). At this time, we do aim to race as scheduled tomorrow, Sunday, June 23. Should the air quality or fire fighting operations warrant changes, we will inform you as soon as possible. We will send our next update no later than 6:30am PT tomorrow.

Due to weather (dense fog), racing will be delayed an additional 30 minutes. The first race will go off at 8:30am. Launching can begin at 8:00am.

We will re-evaluate and send an update at 7:50am.

2024 Invoice Process

After phase II of registration closes, a standard entry fee invoice will be sent to each team at 6:00 a.m. EDT the following day. Each team has 24 hours to pay the standard registration invoice. 

After the late registration period closes, a late entry fee invoice will be sent at 6:00 a.m. EDT the next day, exclusively listing the late entries submitted. Each team has 24 hours to pay the late registration invoice. 

Each team must meet the stated deadline to pay their entry fees during each registration period, or they may not be allowed to race. 

All crews/teams, both unaffiliated and those representing an organization, with an outstanding balance will not be allowed to compete at a USRowing owned or sanctioned regatta until the balance is paid in full.
