The 2020 Lake Lanier Half Marathon has been cancelled due to Covid 19.  Our apologies to all who were planning on participating. We look forward to hosting you all next year.

The second annual Lake Lanier Half Marathon is open to all human powered watercraft.  The race course starts in the bay in front of the boathouse, heads south for about 1000 meters, then turns back towards the boathouse, goes under Clark's Bridge, continues north about 9000 meters to the turn around buoys, then returns south to the Olympic Finish Tower  for a total of 21 kilometers.

Because of Covid 19, competitors will be required to sign the club's Covid 19 waiver, practice social distancing, and wear masks on the venue including the docks and boathouse.  Masks are not required in boats.  The event will not include coxed boats this year.
