The City of Welland announced on Thursday April 2nd that they have extended the closure of all public facilities and the cancellation of any public events until June 30th.
The Row Ontario Small Boat Trials, which was scheduled to take place, on May 23rd has been postponed, with the hope it can be rescheduled later in the year. A possible rescheduling of the Small Boat Trials will be dependent on how the COVID-19 crisis progresses throughout the Spring and Summer months. The Small Boat Trials are an important event on the domestic calendar and the rescheduling of the event will be done in concert with key stakeholders throughout the rowing community.
