The 2017 ROWONTARIO Club Elite Speed Order regatta will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2017 on the south
course in Welland, ON. This new regatta will provide Ontario athletes a high performance racing opportunity in
singles or pairs over the 2000m distance. Athletes must be Canada Games age eligible or have achieved the
ROWONTARIO Club Elite 2k RADAR Standard. The ROWONTARIO Club Elite Speed Order will provide a
Performance Evaluation Race opportunity for Canada Games Athlete Ranking. This regatta will be
recommended as a Qualifying Race for athletes interested in the Ontario Athlete Assistance Program (OAAP).
Athletes that achieve a high percentage (to be determined) of the winning time may be nominated for the OAAP
program.
