WELCOME to the 26th Annual Head of the Genesee !
New this year will be 1x and 2x for the collegiate races !!! At the request of collegiate coaches we have added this racing option as a means of supporting the new Collegiate Small Boat Challenge that will be held November 3rd (see Regatta Central)Please visit http://www.rochestercommunityrowing.org/events/ in order to see a course map AND a course Video.
Sunday - The Open/Masters/High School Event will feature a Head Race.
Saturday - The Collegiate/Open College Event will feature a unique format where winning times are determined by combined Head Race and Sprint Racing times. Winning time = (Head Race Time) + ( 3 x Sprint Total Time). Please note the impact of penalties here! Saturday is a College Only event.
