on Saturday, October 12th, 2013
2013 Head of the Passaic Regatta Update
Thank you to all our 2013 HOPR participants and volunteers!
It was a fabulous day on the Passaic. The Regatta went off flawlessly with 268 entries and 32 clubs. The sunny, mild fall weather was perfect for rowing. River conditions in the morning and late afternoon were calm. There was wind and chop in the early afternoon. The Regatta ran on time through out the entire day.
The ROBERT J. DEVITA CUP (Mens Open Novice 4+) was awarded to the Passaic River Rowing Association (Stevens Institute).
The POINTS TROPHY was awarded to Long Island Rowing Club.
