21k loop with a 5k head race thrown in for good measure

Boats will launch from the Sandra Stetson Aquatic Center and race the clock 21k around Hontoon Island.  The last 5k of the loop will be timed separately. First place medals will be awarded for each boat class based on your TOTAL TIME and your 5k TIME.  Yes, you can walk away with 2 gold medals from one race!

**Registration is LIMITED to 500 Participants**

Boats will launch in speed order (beginning with men’s eights and concluding with girl’s singles).  Doubling will NOT be possible for this event.

Where: Sandra Stetson Aquatic Center, 2636 Alhambra Ave, DeLand, FL 32720, Lake Beresford and the St. John's River, 21k loop around Hontoon Island State Park.

We will have up to 10 chase launches available so that you can ride along with your crew around the course.  Bring a coach, a film crew, a hydration specialist, whatever.  Yes, this will create the potential for wake, but the improved experience for your athletes and your team is worth the risk.  Register your launch with your crews.
