Welcome to the Head of the Occoquan (HOTO)

Race day schedule:

   Saturday:  Registration and weigh-ins opens 8:00,  Coaches/Coxswain meeting 8:45, first race 10:30

   Sunday:  Registration and weigh-ins opens 7:00,  Coaches/Coxswain meeting 7:45, first race 9:00

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS - REGISTRATION: Because of Northern Virginia park limits on number of entrants and trailers, all lineups and boat transportation needs must be reported at time of registration.

Event/Lineup Registration closes by the soonest of: 

1. October 25 @ 10:00 PM EST or: 
2. When the maximum number of allowed trailers and participants set by the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority (NVRPA) is met.

Space is limited at this venue. ALL teams coming to the Occoquan MUST tell us how you plan to get your equipment and athletes to the venue.

1. All boat trailers brought into the park for the regatta MUST be registered. 
2. All car toppers brought into the park for the regatta MUST be registered. 
3. All buses and/or team vans MUST be registered.

Waivers: Every competitor (or guardian of minor competitor) must have executed the OBC HOTO Release of Liability (the “Waiver”) to row in the Head of the Occoquan. The Waiver is accessed through Regatta Central (https://waivers.regattacentral.com/HOTO2023).
