Saturday, February 22, 2010: Charlotte Erg Sprints 2014 is the second year for Charlotte Youth Rowing's Previous event Scrambled Ergs. With the growth of youth rowing in the Carolinas and Southeast region, we are striving to offer an increasinly competitive Erg Sprint for Masters, Colleges, Youth Teams and community members who are interested.

Also with the growing popularity of CrossFit and their use of the erg, we are hoping to involve this growing portion of the rowing community.  The regular 2000 meter distance will be offered as always, and new events of 1000 meter distance have been added to appeal to additional participants.

This event functions as one of the major fundraisers for Charlotte Youth Rowing to help us continue to grow youth rowing in Charlotte.  100% of entry fees go to covering event costs, maintaining and updating CYR equipment, and sponsoring rowers who otherwise could not afford to participate in rowing.

Registration Fees are $15 per rower / $10 for coxswain event / Free for middle school and younger 1000 meter event.
