High School Rowing - Lagoon - Winter Season
The High School Rowing team will practice out of the Lincoln Park Boat House on the Lincoln Park rowing lagoon. Athletes will train in both sculling and sweep rowing. Training will include on-land workouts on ergometers and weight lifting.
There will be no practice between December 23rd and January 5th.

Winter Membership
Discounted membership for access to the facilities during Winter months (Nov-Feb). On the water, cold weather safety is paramount. Assess weather conditions closely and follow the 100 degree rule: if the combined air and water temperature is less than 100 degrees, the four-oar rule goes into effect. Paddlers should dress for immersion. Wear a wet or dry-suit, booties, gloves, a leash and PFD. The current air and water temperature is always available on the LPBC website.
PLEASE NOTE: A Key Fob must be purchased for access to the LPBH, in addition to membership. Key Fobs can be purchased online, under the "memberships" tab.

Guest Rower
Guest rowers must be paired with a current member at all times they are present at LPBC rowing locations. LPBC requires an emailed confirmation of sculling skill level from a home club (to be initiated by the guest rower) if the member plans to row a club double or single. No email confirmation is necessary if the guest is rowing a private shell. This guest pass is valid for 4 rows maximum within a 2 week period. If the guest is planning to row at LPBC longer than that, they should consider a supporting membership.

For the novice and intermediate lifter, learn the fundamentals of the lifts to confidently train on your own, and develop your overall strength.
