Trailer Parking

Trailers can start arriving at the course at 8AM on Friday, April 5th.  Please see the venue map (under Venue section on regattacentral) for directions to the trailer parking lot.  No vehicles will be permitted in the trailer lot on Friday, April 5th OR Saturday, April 6th with the exception of referee vehicles and the tow trucks.  Trailers must depart the lake by 8PM on Saturday, April 6th.

 Check In

Check in will be available from 12pm-6pm on Friday, April 5th.  Bow numbers will not be provided and each team must have their own bow numbers.

 Hot Seating

Hot seating is done at your own risk and crews will not be giving priority to recover to the dock if they are hot seating.  If hot seating, be sure to have the oars for the new crew waiting at the dock as the boat recovers.

 Weigh Ins

There are no weigh ins at the Percy Priest Sprints

 Medals

Medals will be awarded for each event.  Gold, Silver and Bronze will be provided for events with 4 or more entries.  Gold and Silver if only 3 entries and only Gold if the event has 2 entries.

Launching and Recovering

The regatta will operate with one dock, long enough for 2.5 eights at a time and 16 feet wide.  Due to the volume the docks will be experiencing, we ask that you please approach the water with your oarlock gates already open in order to speed up the process.  All boats will need to launch with rowers or team members carrying their oars and will not be permitted to launch unless the oars are present and next to the boat.  An 8 and 4 can have up to 2 people assisting their launching and pairs/doubles/singles with one person.

 Practice on the Course

The course will be open for practice from 12pm-6pm on Friday, April 5th.  No boats will be permitted to launch after 530pm.

Launching for your race

Crews will be responsible for knowing when to launch for their race.  Crews are encouraged to launch 45 minutes prior to their race.
